What is the difference between 1M H2SO4 and 1N H2SO4 in terms of use?

When I studied chemistry, the use of Normal solutions was the most common way of doing titrations etc. Thius has been superceded and molar solutions are now almosr exclusively used. I doubt if any chemistry educational institutes still teach Normal solutions.
