Pacifier problem - NEED HELP QUICK!!?

This answer probably wont go down so well with some people but i personally wouldnt have taken it off him to start with.he only has it at nap times so thats not so bad he s not got it stuck in his mouth all day.i used to have a terrible attitude towards dummys i used to think why dont the parents take them away!and my daughter never had one then my son came along and he loves his dummy as little comforts to toddler are so important.he s nearly two it would break his little heart to take it away.i had one as a child and i gave it up of my own accord with gentle encouragement and being allowed to do this in my opinion teaches more than having things taken away but i can see you tried your best to do it in the kindest possible way and we are all of different opinions you ve been through most of the upset with him now you could just keep going i dont know how long it will take but he ll get over it eventually.its like a loss to him i do feel for him ....and you!!its your descision if you want him not to have the dummy. good luck hope you all get some peace soon!
